I won’t name schools for the SEC/ ESPN because that will just get people arguing about who and the what is more important.

As for the what, I think we are headed the SEC becoming the old Southern Conference with of course ESPN. They will want the Southern Football schools from the ACC and probably Duke for their basketball and academic profile. By the way, the Southern schools in the ACC along with Texas, Georgia, Florida and of course Vanderbilt would create a great academic profile for the conference,

I think the B1G/ Fox will pick some ACC schools in the northeast, but mainly take schools like USC, UCLA, Stanford, Cal, Washington and Oregon. They will mainly own the northern part of the country, with a dip into Southern California.

Please understand though, no one knows when this will start happening. The problem for the ACC and PAC is they are close to being lapped in money and if they lose more teams, it could be triple what they make. So schools that want to be tier 1 will ban together and leave. Ask yourself why Texas and Oklahoma didn’t extend the GOR? That’s easy to see now. However, I kept posting that was a big deal and many said it wasn’t, because they didn’t want to see what was happening. Now ask yourself why USC and UCLA did not extend their GOR for the PAC?
